Default New plants, newish scape, and some questions.

Awhile back I did a trade involving a filter and some plants. They finally got here, and I am wondering some things.

First off,Dwarf hairgrass. How tall does this stuff get? When I planted it,its taller than my 29 gallon. The bottom is a yellow but the tops are a nice green color.Think itll be a good background plant,or will my light make it grow shorter?Have no clue if I should trim it down or not.And if so,will the trimmings grow like stem plants or do I throw them out?

Aqua fern.I got some of this as well.,Is it true aquatic?I read somewhere it was.Does it grow like java?

Ill upload a pic soon of the tank and have more questions when I do.

Very easily could be,Susan.Ill snap the pics and upload them for you.

I like the length and behind the sunset hygro I think itll look great when it fills in.

FTS:

Pic of the HG:

One variation of ludwigia I think.Kinda hard to tell with the condition the plants are in.

Java ferns, aqua fern in between, have no clue what the fuzzy plant is and the other is the other variation of ludwigia I think.

There is also blyxa up front and two corkscrew vals right in front of the wisteria.

Blyxa roots are very tender...I would just trim them to about 1" and plant. It's a good practice for most plants because when you try to plant them you bruise them and they usually die and cause rot.

Looks like giant hairgrass. Tank looks good. I'll send some more to go with it.

The wood looks good there, but you need something on the other side to balance out with the hygro
