Default need to shut off?
If you have a DIY CO2 and plants do not need CO2 at night. How do you shut the system down. You cannot clamp the tube ( bottle may explode )

In most cases you don't need to since the output is not at too high of a level. If you have a bubbler, which helps get CO2 out of your water, that is sufficient.
