Well, my ten gallon build had a leak, so I rushed to Petco grabbed an Aqueon 20H gallon tank for sale, rushed to Home Depot, grabbed a bag of pool filter sand. Managed to set everything up under two hours (I'm pooped).
I need some sort of hanging light though. I have a glass hood for the tank, so what should I do? I'm short on money so I need something not so expensive. How would getting something that would hang on top of the tank vs just buying the Aqueon hood w/ whatever light be comparable money wise. If getting different lights is more worth in the long run, explain. Thanks in advance.

Well, if you want to hang a light you can do what I did, lol.I used a regular incandescent stock light(for a ten gallon) and hung it using picture hanger wires, eyeletts, and those clips people use in the office, the ones where you can flip the handle down.Or you can get a shop light to hang, they are cheaper than aquarium hoods and use it until you can afford something else.

Walmart carries a 2 foot shop light thats almost fits the top perfectly and you can hang it.
