hi guys! i just got a good sized piece of drift wood and need to know how to treat it and such... i have it soaking in a bucket of water and jw how long i should do that and what steps i need to take to have my anubias plants attach on to the drift wood!

Good morning rider... If you got the piece from the LFS, then just a quick rinse in warm tap water is all you need to do. It's been presoaked in water and shouldn't need to be weighted down.
Next, get some black sewing thread and attach your Anubias or carefully wedge it into a spot in the driftwood if you can. The roots will grow into the porous wood in a few weeks. If you notice the tank water turning a little brown, don't fret. It's just the tannins leaching from the wood. The tannins won't hurt your fish or plants. A couple of water changes will clear the water. B
