Default Zelda 3D

Someone buy me this:Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - 3DS for Nintendo 3DS | GameStop

Kidding.

What I really want,is to know if anyone else here is a gamer, and if so are you a fan of LOZ?If so,what do you think of the greatest game in the whole history of everbeing three dee?

Im excited.I always said after master quest, that was enough of OOT.But,it just looks so pretty!I seriously want to ride good ole Epona across hyrule field again, donning my mirror shield, master sword and hover boots, with the gorons tunic.Wonder if they added anything new to it?

Ive known it was coming for awhile, but my lack of 3DS kept me from actually looking into it more. However, lovely Gamestop just emailed me saying its available Sunday.Makes me want to trade my Wii and stuff for one.

I'm a gamer, and my favorite series is Zelda! Personally, I don't think any game could beat Majora's Mask. Ocarina of Time was a close second, but MM is just hands-down the best IMHO! :D Though Twilight Princess was pretty good... Maybe it ties for second with OOT.

Oh, and I know this thread is kinda old, but I thought it was cool that there's a thread for gamers here. Cool post! Though I'm not impressed with the 3DS. To me, 3D is a gimmick that will soon go out of style, like it did when I was a kid in the 90s. It seems like it's more trouble than it's worth. Just my opinion...

I'm more of a Playstation and PC gaming fan... although I liked Ocarina of Time, I'm not planning on buying the same game again just because it looks prettier. :3

3DS has been a bomb for Nintendo... tbh, they're already lowering prices, asking themselves what they did wrong. I would have bought it if I was younger and had no responsibility when my parents dragged me to places. Sure, it's great when you're a kid, I used to carry that Gameboy everywhere. I bought the Pokemon Black/White DSi bundle, thinking I would get back into it. I finished the game and haven't touched it since.

I think the only new game Nintendo is coming out with that I would be interested in is Luigi's Mansion 2 because it's a new game. But I haven't bought a Nintendo console since the Gamecube. I only borrow or try out at a friend's house when it comes to Nintendo now.

Pigionfish,I agree.I am selling my Wii,for lack of great games.I play my 360 more, and am on the hut for fable 3.Then the PS3 with The Last Guardian.

I kinda want the 3ds,it looks fun.Pokemon black was fun,but it was the same as all other pokes.Silver was my favorite there.Soul silver, with Lugia following you, perfect!I dont know why they didnt have the sprites follow in black and white.

Liz,I loved MM!it was very fun, considering the time it took to make it.I want to play skyward sword, but I dont like Link being right handed. They could have given the option in TP.Thats why I have the GC version and never thought to buy the wii version of it.

I want to see a remake of links awakening for the 3ds.Battling the nightmares would be fun.

We are a household full of gamers. We have 3 consoles and 3 computers. My little kids love Zelda and Super Mario. My teen likes first person shooters, like Halo. My husband likes most games, especially shooters and races like Sega GT and Need for Speed Underground. We also play RPGs, mostly World of Warcraft, but my son likes Fable & D&D online. The little kids play Wizard 101.
I can't really play console games anymore because they give me headaches, but I like most of them and I still enjoy WoW. Lately I've only been playing my Facebook games (especially FishWorld) because I don't have a lot of time since I started Beauty school, but I'll be done in 8 weeks and I'll have a bit more time.

Anyone here a fan of the Elder Scrolls?

I was rereplaying Oblvion, now I can't get the soundtrack out of my head. I can't wait for Skyrim... It's easily the most beautifully designed game of the year.

lol My anniversary is coming up this Saturday. Our presents to each other? Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green. Yeah, we're dorks... XD

Anyone a fan of the Sims 2? I'm addicted to it recently. Hubby's been playing Kingdom of Paradise and Ys VII.

Not to bad with gamefly you only pay so much a month. I got it for my son in law and paid 16 a month and he would get a game, play it for so long and send it back and get another.

Hehe... Actually, I just finished Soul Silver for the second time. I love Gold/Silver, and I REALLY love Soul Silver/Heart Gold! Gold was my very first Game Boy Color game (the first handheld system I ever got, when I was 12), and I played that thing all the time. I still remember when my 6-year-old sister used my master ball on a rattatta... and then saved the game... XD It's hilarious now, but at the time I was so angry I took her Barbie doll in retaliation and hid it in the garage.

Have you ever played Pearl/Diamond/Platinum? I have Pearl, and I just started a new file (yeah, school just started and already I'm slacking off... lol).

I have platinum, and thought it was a good game.I think though, after gold and silver, they just started to repeat everything with a few new pokes.I really loved how you got to go to Kanto and beat gym leaders there as well.you dont get to do that in any other of the games.

Giratina is pretty cool,though!

Ill look into the gamefly,Susan.I dont think I can afford another bill, since now Ive got to buy a violin.

GAH! Just got Fire Red and Leaf Green in the mail today... They were fakes! o.O They had fake stickers, wrong text, glitchy graphics, and everything! We got our money back from the seller, but he pretty much told us to just keep them. I guess he can't do anything with them anyway.

My husband is going to keep his fake Fire Red. It plays OK, and some of the typos are funny. It also has this weird feature where you can hear pokemon cries all throughout the game (sort of like in Ruby/Sapphire, but taken to the extreme; we can hear Mewtwo sometimes in Viridian Forest). I might just throw out the Leaf Green, though, because it won't even play for two minutes before it suddenly glitches out and restarts itself. Sometimes it won't even play at all; it just starts screeching at me and replaying the opening "sparkles" sound effect.

And here I was starting to think that hacked games were an urban legend...

He didn't know they were fake, and he was polite enough and prompt enough that we suspect he just picked them up at a garage sale for really cheap, thought "Hey, I can sell these on Amazon for some good cash!" and posted them. It didn't seem like he had even tested them out to see if they worked, and in fact I don't think he even owned a Game Boy. But I guess that serves us right for ordering from someone that nobody had even bought games from before! We went for it because they seemed like the cheaper options (they were much cheaper than the used ones at Game Stop, and now we know why!).

Pigeonfish, I'm right behind you on that! I've heard a lot about Pokemon Quartz, and after this happened I looked up some of the screenshots. If we had to end up with fakes, I wish they could have been cool like Quartz or Brown! XD I heard about one version where the pokemon all ask you for your phone number once you defeat them. It's so weird what those reprogrammers can do!
