Crazy!

My husband was driving last week and lighting struck right next to his car. He said it was an instant "BOOM!" after the lighting and it was soooooo loud he jumped!

The storms have been nuts lately! Glad it didn't hit your house!

Its freak weather in the UK we were expecting highs of 78-80 today at most, instead we reached in the 90's. I sat in our garden for maybe 3 hours and im burnt from it. Havent had weather like this, with such intense heat for a long time. I usually sit in the garden for a week and only catch a little bit of sun i sit there today for less than 3 hours and im caught all over. You have one extreme and we seem to be getting the other side of extreme

Welcome to Life folks, Mother Nature is taking back what we have encroached on.

I am in chicago, we had two EF-1's last week Over densely populated areas(think Ohare airport). In the past 5 years we have had 3 confirmed twisters and 1 confirmed earthquake. I do think the japan quake, chile quake, haiti quake has ALOT to do with this, infact they are finding sea life off the coast of spain that hasnt been present in 800,000 years due to ice blockages in the north sea.

That storm that hit your place in NY is one that passed to our south this weekend and it did some damage passing thru here. Nothing compares to the two major storms this year here, in the southeast with over 200 confirmed tornadoes in 24 hours then Joplin Missouri's twister that killed over 200 people in less then 10 minutes. We got floods like crazy, migrating species that are coming back to their former hunting grounds(explains the cougar getting shot IN an alley in chicago.
Now is the time to reflect and make changes, I am not tree hugger but I can see a demise to this world via weather its time to change our ways and take care of what we got rather then pillage and exploit it.
