Last Thursday we were going through or local Salvation Army Store, I found a 4-5 gallon Critter Keeper with a piece of lava rock inside that measures about 11" long,6" tall and 4" thick with three large holes through it, Paid $3.00 for the setup. This was perfect timing since I just ordered some CRS and wasnt sure they would go with my betta,

I just bought an 80 gallon, like new, aquarium off CL for $50.

I found a 5 gallon at the rubbish bin . Okay so it had a pane broken and a lot of hard water stains but it has fixed up nicely. Now what to put in it...

@ the thrift store i picked up a dining room table for $13.50, plateware for 4 for $5, several coffee mugs and old school cocacola glasses for $.50 each.

also, got juvenile blue gourami for $1.50, and also got a 6 gal "bookshelf" tank w/ filter and lights for $15 , and my new AquaClear 50- plastic till on box!- for $20!! a small pet store here in town was closing up shop (owner moving) and everything i nstore was 25-75% off! unfortunately all i really needed that they had left for fish (never well stocked on fish supplies, more for birds and cats and dogs) was sold out, so no big tanks...

Got a nice 5.5gal blank rimmed aquarium for $2.92 at a local thrift store. Then got a real nice large amazon sword plant with 4 babies attached for $3.99 at (of all places)Meijers.

I went to a yard sale over the weekend and got a 20L out of their "free pile", just needs a good cleaning, and of coarse a hood/ light.

Got a 5 gallon metaframe tank from GoodWill for $4...saw either a 10 or a 20 long (couldn't tell the size) for $7 there today
