memorial Day
I know most of adults will remember but it would be great if we could teach the young generation what Memorial Day is besides a holiday.
It was started after the Civil war and was put aside as a Federal holiday to honor all the men and women who died while serving the United States in time of war. It is slightly different from Veterans day which is to honor all Veterans living and dead. I personally would like to honor and thank all the service people we still have protecting this great country. |
