Do you have a digital timer(s)? How would you rate it and how much do they cost?
I saw some digital timers at Wal-Mart a few days ago for $7-$8 and thought about getting some, but I am really looking for one that is only going to take up 1 plug outlet without blocking other outlets. I saw one like this on one of the hundreds of videos that I have watched and have not had any luck on finding them via Google. Does anyone have any idea what brand they could be?

![]() I fount this at Lowes.com Item #: 144506 | Model #: LW68424 Price $8.97 Brand Utilitech And here is one of the reviews. "Reliable Marie Location:Toledo, OHLevel of Expertise:Intermediate October 18, 2011 Features: 5 / 5 Value: 5 / 5 Design: 5 / 5 Quality: 5 / 5 Ease of use: 5 / 5 I purchased this for our aquarium and was skepitcal. I set the time, which was easy, and hoped everything turned out for the best. When I went back to check on it, everything worked great! I will be buying more of these for around the house. Pros High quality, reliable" I personally use mechanical timers. Pro's : really easy to set up. doesn't need battery to keep the memory of settings and time. (does need power) The reason what that is a pro is that most of the batteries are non user replaceable. Really dependable. (had one working for 10 years) Cons: If the power does go out for an extended amount of time you have to reset the time on it. (but not the programming.) If something does happen to rest on top of it physically it could stop the timer from running. Most units do cover up the second outlet on a wall outlet unless you put them at the bottom of the outlet. and the motor does generate a bit of heat. Hope this helps. |

That is definitely am upgrade from what I have currently. The one I saw in the youtube vid hung off to the side though and didn't block a plug slot though. Also, It is cheaper than what I payed for my mechanical timers.
