I'm the boss as well.....my own boss.
 I can have it off, but I choose to work. Why? Because I have no life  Seriouly tho, I just might take a breather for a few hours, relax myself, meditate, and maybe I will come up with that million $$$ idea  Anyway, I wish you all a happy and safe Labor Day!!!

I have the Monday holiday but it is my duty week so I am on a beeper tether this week. That means no distant travel and no drinking, not even a beer. That will prevent me visiting with my grand kids because their house is too far from where I work. Meanwhile it is the fish club meeting tonight and that is close enough that being the on-duty response person won't interfere. I have already arranged to pick up some nice Corydoras panda from a fellow fish club member and who knows what else it will bring.

Oh, I got one of those meetings also. Picking up some more betta pictas, and some badis rubra, as 25 g tank and who knows what else.

Well I am dripping my pandas now. It was a good pickup as I got 2 females and 3 males together. They will be going into my hastatus tank. At 20 gallons, it a great size for that many fish to feel rather ready to breed. Now I I need to do is talk nicely to them about the birds and the bees.

Well, I swore I wouldn't bid on anymore fish but I did. Brought home some aphyosemion callirum and a group of Elassoma evergladei.

Since this is a thread about LaborDay, or at least started that way. I would like to take the opportunity, to remember those to which this holiday means nothing this year. The Jobless, the homeless, The hungry. To a lot of folks it means a paid day off, family good times, but to some its just another day of worry, stress, and wondering how they are gonna feed the kids tonite. This Labor Day for me, will be about those folks, and hoping they see some relief soon.
