my jaw is still dropped as we speak. i have no idea what the hell happened. im so freaked out of what happened. it went something like this:

so i have worked at a restaurant for 4 years now and one of my managers asked my co worker to name a state, number, and color. my manager, benny,into his eyes, wrote something down, and showed it to us all. he guessed it right. he did it to my brother who also works there, and also to me... multiple times

it gets even worse...

he went over to my brother and said, "i will make you a TEMPORARY psychic" my brother did the same trick to my manager; name a state, nu mber, and a color. my manager whispered it into my ear, and my brother guessed it right. shorty later, he then asked my manager, and my other manager and asked them to name any place in the world, and a fruit. my other manager was born in some remote chilean town- a town that my brother has never even heard of. my brother guessed "Chili" and guessed it semi-right. he also guessed the other managers thoughts of "california" and "kiwi" and named the other managers fruit, "avocado." my brother was soon unable to do it anymore and he didnt know why. he is freaked out as well.

it gets even worse...

then, he wrote on a piece of paper, "i should have a fuc**ng cape," and told me to think about it. i thought about it and son forgot about it. about 15 minuetts later, my brother took off his apron and wore it as a cape, came running over to me, and said "i should have a fuc**ng cape." my brother was about to crap his pants, as well as me...

and you guessed it, it gets even worse...

i told him to do the same to me, because i thought that someone was in "kahoots." he wrote something down and i didnt even look at it and i put it in my back pocket. about a minuette later, i said "benny, ur so fuc**ng gay!" he told me to look into my pocket, and low and behold, the piece of paper said, "benny, ur so fuc**ng gay!" i was in awe... pretty much scared at this point...

of course, it gets worse...

about 10 minuetts later, he wrote down 36 cents and gave it to my brother. he then told me to empty my pockets, and i had 36 cents on me. what... the... hell...

again, its worse...

he then saw me go into the back after we closed the restaurant and light up a cigarette. he wrote the number "5" on a piece of paper and told me to look into my cigarette pack. you guessed it, i had 5 cigarettes left. i have no idea how he found out how to do that when i had my cigarettes in my pocket all night long...

again, last but not least, it gets worse...

when we were all walking out to our cars, he asked my brother to name a random number between 1 and 10. my brother guessed "3." he then asked my other boss to take out his keys and low and behold once again, my other boss had three keys on him. my boss didnt know what to make of it, because he has about 5 different sets of keys- and he brings a new one almost every day.

when we were at our cars, i asked him to read someones mind one more time. he said i have one more trick for you. he said, "i will now dissappear." he got into his car and he left the scene.

here i am at my house, one hour later, and i dont know what to make of it. i am so dumbfounded that i am on the verge of crapping my pants, and so is everyone else, and even my brother. nobody was in "kahoots." me and my other manager will choose to forget about all of this and pretend that it never even happened. so we shook hands like always, said "see ya tomorrow!" to eachother, and left.

what the hell do i make of this?

I have my thoughts on what those abilities are.... but unless you want this to turn into a lengthy debate, I shall keep them to myself, lol.

i always thought that mind readers are compleate bs. but i am still skeptical. there HAD to be some trick... care to elaborrate to what you think it could be?

In my opinion, things like that are demon sourced. They have the ability to give people certain abilities and make certain things happen, all to cause others to believe in "magic" and "psychics" and all that jazz, ultimately leading people away from God. Simple as that, lol. :D (Not saying that guy was evil or anything, but his abilities - if real - would be of a demon source, and the guy probably isn't even aware.)

YEah I know everyone has different beliefs,but I agree with Holly.Its not normal.possession is something Ive seen first hand.(Dont mean to offend anyone with all this BTW,just speaking my POV)

And with that,ill quietly watch this thread behind some fluffy pillows as to avert the rocks,hehe.

have you guys heard of derren brown? Don't know if he is known in america but he does a stage show of this kinda stuff. Its mostly based on subconsious sugestion that you don't know your being told what to think. I know this can't explain away all that this guy did, But maybe you met derren brown. I went to see his "something wikkid this way comes" show and it was amazing!

The James Randi Foundation had a reward out for many years that was in excess of a million dollars for anyone who could demonstrate paranormal abilities. Many tried to collect it but not one professed psychic could stand up to close examination. (James Randi is a magician, and knows all the tricks) These frauds have been around since the first sucker was born, and they'll remain on the scene as long as there are gullible people. Isn't it funny how you never hear of a psychic winning the lottery?

lol. true. never heard of a psychic winning the lottery. lol. but what is the trick? lol. he says that he is "tapping into the subconcious" to read what we are thinking... wtf? lol.

James Randi has debunked every single psychic/mind reader, etc. that he's ever encountered. Just google him and do a little research. Not one single psychic/mind reader/medium has ever stood up to scrutiny. My favorite was a TV religious quack that he exposed and drove off the air. Harry Houdini was another guy who delighted in exposing frauds, and he caught every single one as well.
