So Les Stroud, the canadian who tries to kill him self in the wild while "surviving" is in the amazon and catching fish by poisioning the entire river with the tribe. Wont then the poison enter them as they are eating it right after catching it.

idk about this but ive heard the native americans in my area used to put some sort of crushed nut into the water and it would paralyze the fish and they werent harmed.
