Default Amazing travels anyone??

Well as much as we all like the 'fishy' talk i thought i may write something a bit different for once haha.

As you may have noticed by now im from the UK. However I spent the past 2 years 2009 and 2010 working in the USA working on a Summer Camp in PA, near Honesdale. Ive travelled a fair few countries but I must say by far America wins hands down every time. I spent 8 weeks working with ADHD children whilst in camp and I must say I wouldn't have changed my choice for the world. The camp was amazing not well off, so no top of the range equipment, accomodation or food, but the staff made every bit of it amazing and I have some world wide friends from it. I also done the Amtrak train journey from New York to California, which i must admit was actually great.

As much as the taboo of ohhh nooooo i cant post my pic on here I shall do it, its a picture of me on the camps colour wars day (the green team by far the best of course)

oh and not forgetting the most beautiful sight i had the pleasure of seeing every day I spent at camp

So th question remains who else has had some of the most amazing experiences on their travels and where was it?

Oh and i do apologise for such insulting photo of myself and my colleague lol

the northern lights and the moon in alaska are a must see, if you ever travel there. if you ever find yourself in the middle east, watch the sun rise. the sky isnt so great, but i have never seen the early morning sun so beautiful.

I should be returning to work in the same camp either next year or the year after so i plan to see even more of the states after when i go travelling for a month, so any suggestions from people always welcome. I do want to see alaska though convincing someone to travel there with me will be a pain lol

I suggest the northern plate in canada, the ONLY place in the world where the ground is SOLID rock and tree's grow thru the cracks its pretty neat. America has quite a few AWESOME destinations, Ive driven border to border and coast to coast and to be honest I never see the same thing twice, you got stonehedge, we got carhedge lol.

The nothern atlantic is also full of RICH history to us americans.Id die a happy man if I can walk the same path's my ancestors from wales walked.
