Default What's her problem . . . ?

She had an ulcer on her face that healed (mostly) with coppersafe. Several weeks ago , these black spots appeared on her face around the ulcer. There's a possibility the spots may be the parasite that comes from snails. Any way to tell for sure? Here are a couple of photo links. Thank you!

If she's acting okay, you might chalk it up to healing scales that are discolored. Similar to a scar? I think it has something to do with the melanin (pigment) inside the cells of the new scales. It will probably fade in time.

Welcome!

I have a fish with a scar that looks quite like that, it's original wound has long since healed but it still has a mark.
