i have two aquatic snails. one yellow, one black. what is the gestation period.

Well, hopefully they are a male and a female, otherwise it is a really long time. If you want to spot a male, on hold him foot up so he comes out and tries to stretch toward you. On the opposite side of his siphon, there's a bulge, that sometimes looks a little pink on the end. Those are his boy parts. I'd check your snails to see if you've got one of each.

Welcome!

Different species of snail bread in different ways. I assume you have apple snails, if so they need a male and female to bread and lay clutches of eggs.
