Newbie here
Hi everyone,
I'm Chessie, and I am the caretaker of a 10 gal Platy tank in my son's bedroom. I'm relatively new to aquariums, but after a year of trial and tribulations, hopefully we finally have a healthy system going. I've got a live planted tank with three platys, one corycat, and an apple snail named Scoot. Currently I just started a DIY fermentation system to inject CO2 since we're on well water and have extremely alkaline water. I was hoping it would bring the pH down, which is clearly has, but I have a feeling I'm going to mess this up somehow, so I'm sure I'll be peppering people with questions. Pleased to meet you! I'll get a pic of the tank up for my avatar as soon as I can figure out how to get it off my phone.  Chessie |
