New member from Florida
Had salt Water aquariums from 1978 to 1990. Started with fish, ended up with a 300gal reef tank. Sold everything when I moved to Europe. Now, after many years starting out again, with a small reef tank. The information and technology has really come a long way. When I was a member of the "Windows to the Sea Marine Aquarium Society" in New Jersey we used to say keeping a salt water reef tank was 50% black magic and 50% witchcraft. I remember building my own protein skimmer with info from a German Magazine. I remember meeting Julian Sprung & Marc Weiss at club meetings and Dr.Tunze who gave a talk at one of our meetings .
