New fish tank in Malia

Hello happy fish owners, we just set up our new mini aguarium for 13 litres. So far we have 2 fancy pairs of guppy and looking forward breeding them as one female is pregnat already from the shop. We are looking forward browsing on yours fish tanks for inspiration.

I hate to tell you, but with a 13 liter tank (~3.4 gallons) that tank is going to be way too small for your needs and is already overstocked even without the coming babies. Also, if it is newly set up without being cycled, you've got trouble coming down the road... Any chance the pet store would take them back and you could get something more suited for a little tank? Or you could always get a bigger set up and get more guppies once it is cycled...

Hi, I have cycled my fish tank for more than week befor introducing first fish, all of them were coming two by two with 5 days in between. Our pregnat guppy gave birth when being out for New Year, 2 small ones survived and are doing just fine in stone labyrinth I made for them. All fishes seems happy and active.

I started lookinig for large tank. Our male guppy is very active and all ladies seems colouring black gravity stains. Plan is to keep Mini13l for babies and get larger tank 40 - 50l for adult fishes. And soon will have to look for more aquarium fans in Crete :-)
