Welcome to the forum.
 there are a lot of good people here. Please don't be shy, show us your set up , we love pictures  I am a engineer and love to solve problems. I just started a water conditioner project that will help solve some problems I have with my water change system. The city water I use is filtered so no chlorine but it does have a good bit of dissolved gasses that cause pop-eye and during winter the water can be cold and cause the temp of the tank to drop too much. I found a source of food grade plastic 55gal drums and I hope to pick one up this satruday. and set it up in my shop and get a water heater insulating jacket for it.
