At the moment i'm having great fun (not)
I had my six Orandas (1 to 2") in a thirty five gallon tank and decided to upgrade them to a 60 gallon Tank.I transferred everything from the smaller tank hoping not to get water issues but i was testing twice a day and on Tuesday Ammonia had started creeping in so i transfered my Orandas back to their well matured tank including one of the Filters,leaving another Filter in the 60 gallon new tank.

This morning the Ammonia has gone, now onto the Nitrite so it looks as if this is going to be a quick cycling (fingers crossedlol) but i am testing twice a day on 'both' tanks with API test kit.
I was thinking when the Nitrite is zero on the 60 gallon new tank i would put two of my Orandas in and keep a check on water every day?

I will have a look later to see if there is any advice about this. Orandas are fine at the moment

Thank you for your welcome.Yes i see where you are coming from. The past couple of days it's been very hot here so had to really zap up the aeration for the Orandas but, they are just fine.

The koi are in a pond and they are so friendly and very relaxing to sit and watch them.They are quite big now and love being fed by hand.

At some point i will be trying to put pics on of my fish
