Default Hi everyone,

I'm a Pisces, need I say more. Always wanted an aquarium and finally acquired my first one about 20 years ago. A 55 gal. from a friend. After some really bad advice from a pet shop and a couple dead tanks of fish I received the right advice from another shop owner. yea!! Now progressing forward I have the 55 at home and a 30 in my office at work. All fresh water and just with community fish which I love, and I think they love me too. But maybe it's just cause I'm the one that takes care of them.

But I need some help with a 125 gal. that is also in my office that is just full of air. I've been searching the forums and haven't come up with the answers I'm looking for on the setup. (It will be fresh water with community fish and I'm hoping to have my first live plants??) I have a UGF in it but decided I have to run a canister, which I have no experience with. I decided on a cascade 1000 or 1200. Economical and seems to have good reviews. At one time I was told that a UGF could be run with a canister and now everything I see is that I should tear out the UGF. I'm soo confused on what to do. I don't know if I'll get any help from this intro but if anyone would like to comment,,, plz do.

Thanks - mark
