Talking hi all
hi i am cathy AKA mitcore and i have been fish keeping for yrs
i have 5 FW tanks and dream of the 8ft marine
i breed angels and bristle noses

i have kids and i am married

hope this is my new forum home

Please give me the scientific names of your fishes. I don't understand the american names, but I want to learn this.

I looked into your photo gallery and I saw this fishes (scientific and german):

Pterophyllum scalare - Skalare or Segelflosser

Gymnocorymbus ternetzi - Trauermantelsalmler

Cleithracara maronii - Maronibuntbarsch

Trichogaster trichopterus - Goldguramie or Goldener Fadenfisch

Phenacogrammus interruptus - Kongosalmler

Poecilia reticulata - Guppy

Xiphophorus maculatus - Platy

Is this right?

The other fishes are not to recognize. The photos are to small.
