Red face Hey everyone!

I'm Lojo, new to starting the "fish" hobby ! I've been reading a lot of your threads and love you all already!
Yes, I'm making all the newbie mistakes, the only thing I've done right is start with a 55 gallon tank.
No, I didn't complete my "cycle" before I added fish, so I'm in the middle of the white cloud of despair in my tank! The fish I have in my tank are: 2 minnows, the bait kind lol, but I like them the a lot. I started with them and an adf in a smaller tank. Now I have the 2 minnows male and female 6 adfs 2 male,4 female (my favorite), 3 platys, 4 rainbows ( 1 Austrian,1 Boni..something ;), 2 turquoise), 4 Dalmatian mollies, 1 plecto, and 1 male guppie. I lost one female guppie, 1 male betta, and 1 female betta (yes Now I know not to have them together ).I've only lost them since the white cloud started. Have I already overloaded with these in a 55 gallon?I know from your threads the sucker will have to go when he gets bigger.
2nd question, the white cloudy water is going on three days. Doing partial water changes(25%) sometimes2x a day and trying to be patient. I have a Tetra whisper 300/70 filter, air pump with air stone and small round led bubble light. What else can I do to keep my fish alive til the dreaded white cloud leaves? How long will this take to clear?
Sorry, this turned into a quiet lengthy start, just wanted to give you all the info.
Water readings are being done with strips. No chlorine, high everything else. Have used Amonia remover and water conditioner with water changes.
Thanks for letting me be stupid to start , I'll try to be a quick study!!
Suggestions?

your probably a little heavy in the tank(since still cycling). The minnows may not be safe( not disease free if from wild) if from bait shop.Keep up pwc and add carbon to filter if possible. Afew plants would probably help also.

Plants definetly wouldn't hurt and id say you might be a bit overstocked but as stated, don't get lazy on the water changes, that's your #1 defense against pretty much anything, good luck and welcome to the forums

Also no really need for the ammonia remover, most everybody here substitutes chemicals with water changes, espeacially for ammonia, chemicals can do more harm in the long run, also do you have yourself a liquid test kit?

Good morning! Guess what I woke up to? Clear water!!! Altho I'm afraid to turn on the lights because it might get cloudy again! Thank you all so much for the replies!
Tomorrow is payday, so I will get the liquid test kit. As for strip test, this morning, all that is too high is the nitrites! So I'm putting on my rain boots ;) for another partial water change.
Everyone suggested I am overloaded on fish, may I ask for suggestions as to which to keep and which to give back to the pet store? I promise to follow advice and learn from you, open mind and heart to get this aqaurium as it should be!
Thank you again so much for helping me!!
