Hey all, new to the forums
How is everybody? just alittle about myself, My name is Nick I currently live in las vegas, and I have just gotten back into the hobby since i was just alittle kid lol, about a month ago i started up a ten gallon with 2 glofish and since then ive added a beautiful red velvet swordtail and a gold incan snail, also at the moment I have a completly empty 40 gallon breeder and was wanting to get into cichlids, or possibly some different Rams, any suggestions on what i should put in it? thanks for your time.

Hey welcome,What kind of cichlids are you looking to get,I have both African and a large south American jack demsey.most south American cichlids need at least a 55 gallon,you could prob do some of the smaller Africans,just do you research on which one are compatible with eachother,if you have any questions let me know and ill help you the best I can

Im not a cichlid person,but a 40 breeder is a great size to plant,if you ask me.

Welcome!
Bolivian Rams are a great choice (as I've been told by many people.) You could try adding 2 more glofish to your tank so they can have a little shoal. They generally like 6+ but in a 10g that would be too many fish.

well thank you everybody for the warm welcome lol, as for my 40 gal i definetly wanted to go with africans cichlids if i did a cichlid tank, later down the road i plan on doing a 75-100 S.A. cichlid tank if all goes well lol, so far i like the snow white socolofi but not quite sure if it would be best to do a species only or if not what other fish would go well with it? Also i was thinking about electric blue rams and german gold rams but i dont really know anything at all about em
