Well here is my current tank it was a donor so no clue on capacity.

And here is the new on its a Fluval edge 46l im still running her in only done 2 days so far but will give it a little over a week need to vac the gravel again also getting some nice ornaments to go in then it should be ready for the fish which are nothing to exotic just 12-14 guppies (not sure exactly how many cos they wont hold still lol) and 1 Clown loach lost the other a few weeks back.

Once the tank is up and running I may look to introduce some more fish into it il definitely get another 1 or 2 loaches but not sure what else I can get that will look nice and happily co-habitat with the greedy guppies.
Also looking and some decent hardy plant life to stick in aswell .

gonna need a bigger tank for that clown loach, or any loach, i think the smallest they come is 4 in full grown. those clown loaches can get up to 12 inches! (think size of forearm on a large fully grown man) thats the only reason i havent gotten one yet. i would need a 75 gal or larger just to give it living space.b

Yeah ive been informed on another post about there size im a bit gutted cos I did a bit of reading and im sure it said there suited to smaller tanks but then whats small and im suprised the aquatics place didnt question me but I have 1 or 2 people with much larger tanks that can adopt him when he gets to big you never know I may get lucky and have a dwarf on my hands shame though he bonded really well with my guppies and seems quite happy.

Well there in the Guppies took it well they seem a little confused and keep bumping into the sides but there ok my clown loach is slightly more upset it was a mission catching him boy that sucker can move and jump but he has started to explore a bit so he should be ok hopefully it will be a while before he has to come out du to size.

Water isnt yellow just a bad pic.

That is EXACTLY how I felt at one point. I had some guppies that I introduced during my cycle and they all got sick. I had had enough of daily water changes and plus they were my 4 year old daughter's fish and I didn't want her to be sad if they died. We're having a lot of fun with her fish now and I have dreams of a planted 75 gallon as my next tank.
