Default help!!!

I have an approximately 25 gallon tank w/ an oscar, a jack dempsey, a firemouth cichlid & a small pleco....during the process of moving into a new house my boyfriend decided to move the tank while I was at work. he thought he was being helpful, however he doesn't know anything about he fish cuz i'm the obe that takes care f the tank. so anywayz...he drained about 75% of the water, took the tank to the new house & refilled it w/ regular tap water & added some water dechlorinator as an after thought! now the fish won't eat, basically lay on the bottom of the tank, and they are breathing very slowly. i've done several water quality tests over the past 48 hours, everything reads at a normal/safe level. i'm not sure what is causing symptoms, so i don't know what my next step should be??? should I do a partial water change? treat with antibiotics? please help!!! thanx!

Is your tank in a mini cycle? Depending on how long the filter media sat without water it could have just killed off all the BB. About all you can do at this point is turn the lights off for a couple of days allow the fish to calm down from the traumatic move and see what happens.

It could also be caused by a ph difference causing shock.

By the way hope your planning on a bigger tank soon, as the fish you have you are goin to need a 75 gal.
