Phil, We have Saltwater experts on Staff here that will be with you shortly, but you might want to give them some particulars to start with, such as, what tank size is gonna fit your budget etc. Im sure you will be happy with the information you get and will get off on the right foot immediately.

Welcome to the forum Phil. As you can tell from my profile area, I am not a salty person but I'm always happy to find a new member that I might be able to learn from. It is what keeps the hobby interesting over the years.

Awesome decision. We'll be here with you every step of the way.
What size do you want to get?
Whats your budget?
What do you want in it as far as livestock?
What kind of lighting do you have in mind?
Do you have friends to trade corals with?
What kind of corals do you like?
What are your plans as far as making water?
How automated do you want the tank to be?

Just some questions off the top of my head, lets figure out a roadmap for you and get right on it.

I think I want to learn more about the things in reef tanks before I decide about tanks and such. I want to learn the terminology too. Maybe in a few weeks ill think about tanks and such.
