Hello from NC
Hi, new to the forums but have had various freshwater tanks for over 15yrs. Currently I just had a newly setup 20g planted tank. I am using a clay/peat substrate with sand and gravel on top of that. I have a paintball CO2 setup with a regulator, solenoid, bubble counter, and diffuser (Red Sea). I keep the CO2 around 12ppm and pH around 6.6. For lights I have a 2x24w Nova Extreme T5 HO light (1 10k, 1 pink) and 1 15w fluorescent for a total of 63w.
The tank currently has 7 cardinals, 3 golden white clouds, 1 bamboo shrimp, 10 red cherry shrimp, 2 oto cats, and 2 peacock gudgeons....along with various plants. Hope to learn more about planted tanks and substrates here! |
