Hello from Chicago

Hi All.

I have a 29 gallon freshwater planted tank with mollies, corys, and gouramis.

I also have a 10 gallon freshwater planted tank that I use for raising fry and also as a hospital/isolation tank when needed.

Both tanks are about 4 to 5 months new.

I used to have a custom made 300 gallon tank about 35 years ago where I was breeding angels and selling them to the LFS.

I can't believe how much fish keeping has changed over the last 35 years. Back then cycling a tank was unknown of and the great new invention of the decade was undergravel fiters.

I remember when undergravels were very high tech!! Horrible contraptions!

55 gal planted
3 juve angels, 3 rainbows, 6 corey cats, 9 year old kissing gourami.

Sure have come a long way from UG filters-Could never get them to work good at all-not to mention also trying to keep live plants with those filters was definetly a chore.
