Default Greetings from Runcorn, England!

Hi,

I'm Mike. I'm 26 years old and I'm from England. I am completely new to the world of aquariums, but I am hoping I can change that.

I am fascinated by coral reef and fish from coral reef regions. I am hoping to eventually setup a small coral reef aquarium in the future, but first I want to gain experience looking after fish.

I've recently been given a single one foot aquarium in which I am going to place six to eight Cardinal Tetras. I want to keep this tank for a year or so, then increase to a two or three foot aquarium and keep this for a few years. Once I feel comfortable with my ability to look after fish, I will move onto something like a Nano Cube Deluxe and use it to create a coral reef aquarium.

So there you have it. That's me and my plan.

Thanks for reading.

The plan will fall out of play once the MTS bug bites.

Welcome to the forums from across the big pond.

I started with a 10 gallon tank because my husband wanted one. I now have a 16, 26 and 36 gallon and can't wait for a 100 gallon. My husband lost interest and I am now a fiend!!!!

Absolutely! I think my husband thinks I have gone off the deep end. I told him I felt the same way about his golf habits! LOL So, I just keep sneaking tanks and fish in.
