Does anyone know if I can use the AquaPlus for betta fish? I have been using the BettaPlus when I am changing the fishes water. But is only available in the small bottles in my area and is very expensive, where as the AquaPlus is in larger bottles and more reasonably priced. I have the fish in separate 2 gallon bowls, and have been using 4 drops of the BettaPlus during each water changing. I had been changing the water every Sunday, though this past Christmas, is has been dragged out to every 2 weeks. Thanks kindly ! |

Welcome aboard!
I'm not sure about betta plus, or what kind of product it is... I did want to ask, however, since your fish are in 2 gal bowls, do they have a heater and filtration? Many people wrongly assume betta do not need these things and they do. Bettas come from warm waters and prefer temps in teh 80's, ideally somewhere around 84. And they most def. need to have filtration. As far as the expensive water, if there is nothing absurdly wrong with your tap water there isnt any reason you cant use that along with a good dechlorinator for the fish.
