Sorry Folks,
My last intro was pretty weak:frown2: I had gotten confused between this site and another and so I thought I posted here when I in fact posted to another*old dude
I will fix that now......I have not kept an aquarium for about 20 years I guess, more like 14 actually now that I calculate it. I worked in Pet shops and wholesalers during my HS and college years. I have kept so many fish of so many types from all over the world that it is hard to remember them all. I was a catfish aficionado and always had cichlids. I also kept Herps too. My goal is to get back to things and set up a 75 gallon planted tank trying to incorporate some of the "new Fangled" gozmers in the trade today. I am an old school aquarist who believes in stability above all else. I plan to keep my addiction to one maybe 2 tanks (my wife loves livebearers because of their colors so a separate tank may be necessary.) This will be a huge departure from the 1000 gallon, multi tank system I maintained years ago.
I hope I can learn some new tricks from people in the hobby today. I hope I do not insult anyone with my old school ways and methods.....I always mean well.
Jim
