Default 24g jbj nano freshwater

hey, i just have a few questions about my new tank setup. This tank was originally a saltwater reef tank. i recently completely cleaned it out bought new sponges, bio balls... the works. i also bought a new pump Maxi-Jet 900, it's rated at 247 gph. Is this pump sufficient enough for my tank?

Next subject would be adding fish, i want to keep nicer fish but i want all the fish to have peaceful Temperament and the same water needs. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i also heard a bio wheel is very beneficial to freshwater tanks, unfortunately i don't think a bio wheel can be added to my nano tank, so instead i have about 15 bio balls. Are the bio ball the same as the bio wheel?

hello and welcome, tell us more about your tank, size and everthing to hlep you out better, and to answer one of your questions i know, bio balls are not the same as bio wheels, bio balls go in canister filters, the bio wheels are for HOB filters
