Why So Few Chatroomers???

why are so few people ever in the chatroom? feel free to give any reasons..... how can we get more in there?

People come here to post threads and replies, people overlook the chatroom. Sometimes people are only sitting at their computer for a couple minutes and dont have time to hang out in chat. I agree though we need to make it more enticing.. I have some ideas.. feel free to suggest more. What can we do to boost activity in the chatroom?

I'm a moderator in a couple of chats, and what one does is set up a time each week and put it on the front page of the board. Then add weekly reminders of it in a chat forum.

You can try to use the chatroom like a classroom. If you have anyone here that is an expert on any specific topic they can set up a special time to teach it and answer questions.

The reminders are not working but the chat events are on the homepage in the calendar.
I will fix the reminders today.

	The most chatters online in one day was 16, 03-02-2012. No one is currently using the chat.
