Site problems?
I have been unable to get on the site for 2days now. I dont know if it was down and no one could (I doubt because I see post from those days) or something preventing me getting on. it always told me the site timed out or was unreachable. I live in Germany and my Internet otherwise worked perfectly.

is it me, or has the site been down a lot lately? like 3 or 4 days in the last month...i like to visit this forum daily, so its pretty frustrating

Yes it was down a bit for me as well.Thanks Jarred for fixing it!I seem to frequent here more than anywhere now,the people are much nicer....

yeah i belong to 3 forums; This one, one other fishy forum, and 1 crayfish forum. I have 1 post each on the other 2. This one is by far the best for information and help. I was thinking it maybe money problems and was gonna make a suggestion of a donation box thru paypal.

if the site is down due to maintenance, then why are we not informed that the forum will be down all day for this reason? might make it easier for everyone to accept

The site wasn't down for maint. We have been experiencing problems with the server, in the process of changing servers.

I assume you guys had a site issue again. The server you use is in the city I reside in. What kind of problems are you encountering? Server load? Hosting problems? Are you guys on a shared hosting plan or running a dedicated server? I personally use Fatcow.com for all of my web hosting. I've never had a problem with them yet.

I have been around here for a while now and can tell you that this is due to what is posted above and not by any means a regular thing. they posted that a fix to the situation is coming, read the posts and try to be patient.
