Default Should I report possible spammers?

It's kind of a funny question but I've noticed spammers are getting trickier and sometimes I'm not sure when to actually report them. Often a new user has not actually posted spam yet but you can tell that's what they are probably here for. For example when a new user posts randomly in old threads without having anything to say so that they can build up their post numbers or start up conversations from no where about LED lights is it useful to repost these users or is it better to wait until there is actual spam? I don't want to be a pest to the mods by reporting stuff that is not any use to them.

Yes please do, we can either give them a warning or just ban them.

Yeah, I've had a couple of responses to my intro thread here in the last couple of days and I signed up a few months ago. Thought it was kinda strange. If any more come around should I report them?

You can, but remember some of them might be someone new and posting everywhere trying to get their post count up. But you can usually tell as some won't make any sense to the thread.
