I would like to see a forum where each person can simply talk about what is going on with there tank. Then if they post topics on other parts of the site maybe they could link them some how.
For example, mine would start with a blurb about how many tanks I have and what sizes. This would be my own forum. Then, maybe next week I test the water and put the test results on there or new fish I purchased. Then next week I have a problem with a parasite. I add another comment to my forum about finding the parasite but link it as a new thread in the Fish Disease section. I thought about this because I thought it might be nice to follow what each other are doing and then we might be able to give each other tips and suggestions before problems develop. Eg. I add a fish and put that in my forum. Someone asks me in my forum what I did to get the new fish used to the new water and then we have a conversation about drip versus floating. Also, then it might be a nice place to catalog what we are doing. For example, tonight I just got a master test kit and am testing all 5 of my tanks and want to record the results but I think I would keep better records by actually just posting it on here.

You can simply track a thread. Start one thread with all the info you want then come back to update it with new findings and results. Kind of like keeping a journal. Instead of multiple threads, update into one thread.
James0816 keeps a journal about breeding his otos cats, you can do something similar. When my 55g is finished cycling, Im going to start a journal soon too. So myself and others can see the progression and the mistakes I deal with. So we can all learn from it.
