Default IPAD2 Issues with site.

I use an IPAD2 for my forum reading and have not been able to read from this site while using the IPAD2. Anyone know of a way around this. It starts to load the home page then stops about a fourth of the way and freezes. Like it doesn't like an advertisement or is waiting for a cookie or something.

Thanks in advance

Hi Don, I also use my iPad 2, and I haven't had any issues with the site. Tryndubble clicking your home button on the ipad and then at the bottom will bw icons, clear your icons from there, then clear your cache in your safari settings. Then try again. GL I hope this helps

Works fine on mine also. Try the AtomicBrowser app if you really do need a workaround from your Safari.

Things seem to be working here. Have you upgraded to the new operating system? Apple doesn't like Flash and some of the site is in Flash. I just ignore it and go on.

Thanks for all the suggestions, not a new operating system yet. Will try the suggestions tonight. As far as not buying an Apple...well I am normally not, however, now that I own one, I wouldn't due without it. By far the best system I have used and that's with about 40 years of computer experience. Don't get me wrong I still use all the other brands but I will grab my IPAD2 over everything else...

Oh yeah totally with you on the iPad/apple thing. I use my ipad2 95% of the time and the other 5% is for stuff like flash for my schoolwork. Since metric is iPad friendly and most tv networks are iPad friendly, why use a computer for Internet stuff. We also have an apple tv! Love it, we are considering getting rid of cable and sust stream our movies and tv shows...

Well if only a phone can do the internet, surely an IPAD can. Do anything beyond that though and you are stuck grabbing something else. I'm not knocking Apple per se, but think it was pretty crappy of them to give you what can be taken as the equivalent of a laptop, but only giving you part of the the tools you need to do anything. I mean...not even a USB port on the damn thing, right?

Hard to explain but how much do you really need to plug into? I never find myself saying "Gee, I wish I had a USB port."
I do wish I had a printer set up to use but it's a minor thing and I will get an air printer soon enough.
It is just so compact and fun to use that's all, no hassle just light weight and portable.
Storage space is now unlimited with a cloud and you can sync to anything. Just to easy..

Went home last night and tried everything that was suggested. Nothing worked. Tried three different browsers all fail to load the home page. Nothing will load from AF at all. I think my modem or my Wireless router is blocking it for some reason. I will continue the investigation tonight. LOL
