i have also noticed that brackish water is suppost be all squeezed up into 1 little infra-forum. i say brackish water should be given a whole sub-forum, as it is a whole tree of its own, not a branch off of SW, and it seems to me its popularity is growing...

im not sure if it was already said b4, but i think it would be cool to have forums for Turtles, Newts, and Frogs because there are a lot herp-keepers on this forum and those are all aquatic animals.

Sorry but disagree. We work hard to keep this a kid and otherwise friendly forum and there are a lot of sites that do not do that. This place needs to be kept the way it is in that manner. We have mods that are youngsters and I am proud of them. It is not something to be proud of to have an area that we can go to to be crude and inappropriate. If it should not be said in front of someone, why say it at all? There are just some things that do not belong being said in this type of forum. This forum is special and why cheapen it?

Is there any way to save information beyond the sticky messages? There is some basic information that comes up all the time here (I know because I've been asking some of the most basic questions) and searching for topics like cycling or algae etc... bring up millions of threads.

Maybe even just a basic encyclopedia of fish and their characteristics (community/aggressive/livebearer/ideal pH/etc...)

Very good suggestion Jarred may decide to add a FAQ section, and just put those type of answers in it. Thanks for your suggestion.

I think there should be some kind of reward like a positive reinforcement for reaching a certain amount of posts. Such as a reward for 100 posts, 500posts, then 1000 posts. or any order to increase feedback. It would make the newcomers more welcome because of the many warming feedbacks and also it would probably would not leave any post unanswered.

Just a thought. Not sure if anyone has thought of it.

I suggest, that when one posts to sell or trade, they must put where they are. example.
Tampa, Florida,USA, free anubias. that sort of thing. it's a pain to figure out that someone wont mail it, or they live in canada, or you have to be 007 to figure out... blah blah, you get my point.
i suggest that if I post with no location in the post, then you could delete my post um, like as the ONLY way to post is with a Location.
just my 2 cents
