Agreed. Many other forums have mobile app software. I've asked myself a few times already why this site does not.

Aquariumadvice.com has one but unfortunately the people on that site are the bang your head against the wall type and should be wearing helmets...

Although having an app for this forum would be nice I can still access it via my android phone on the full site which works rather well IMO.

I get onto this site all the time with my phone. I guess an app would be better, but I have responded to threads with no issue. The only thing I know it won't do is get into chat from your phone. As long as you have a 3G phone or higher anyway.

True, but an app would allow a better mobile format and have banners and notifications of when people comment on your threads and more. It's just allot faster and more convienient....Just a thought.

I use Pulse rss reader for this site, fish-lore, and monsterfishkeepers. Works great for my iPhone 4S. I do love aquarium-advice's app though, it's really slick.

I think that would be a great idea.. easier way to check subscribed threads instead of getting the email on my phone too.
maybe upload pics would be a lot easier than connecting phone to computer also idk if thats asking a lot thou

I am going to go out on a limb and say, why would it be a big deal when so many other forums already have this feature? Literally, there are hundreds. At one point I had purchased the forum runner app, and used that for "aquarium advice" up until the usefulness of the site was not satisfactory to my tastes anymore. The app of which I speak has native support for hundreds if not thousands of forums across the Internet on a wide range of topics...

So why is the best aquarium forum on the Internet lagging behind for mobile support? Here I say this as I sit typing this message on my android smartphone...

To be doubly sure of my claims before spouting off incorrectly, I purchased tapatalk (the top smartphone and tablet app for online forums) and can now confirm with certainty that this forum does _not_ work with it. I haven't tried forum runner app yet, because I wanted to try what the mainstream uses first.

But who really needs mobile support for their website?

...This time I type my message from my android tablet running honeycomb.
