This is a continued issue, can we get a detailed information about how this is supposed to work and or what is needed to make it work?

If needed I can send out an assistance request from home tonight so whomever from the forum maintenance group can see what so many of us are talking about.

Still works fine for me. Can you list off some information for us?

What's your Operating System?
What browser and version are you using?
If your browser supports addons, are you using any? Which ones?
Are you trying to launch the chat in the same window, or in a new tab/window?

I think it's a browser issue that's causing the issues for people, but we won't know until we get details from the people it doesn't work for. Tracking down a problem like this can be a huge pain in the butt for an admin if they don't have any background info to go off of.

If anyone else is having issues with the chat not working for them, please post your info here so we can look for patterns.

I've even tried this in compatibility mode and on my netbook which runs Windows Vista an IE 8.

I'll ask again, what needs to be done to correct this chat issue? If an admin would like to give me a call and discuss what's happening I'd be more than happy to give out my phone number.

I've tried this on Firefox, IE8, IE9 Win XP, Win Vista, Win 7 and all I get the starting chat and then the login screen I posted previously.

I just tried using the Windows Virtual Machine in Win 7 Enterprise that's runing IE6 and it loads and doesn't ask me to sign in but there is not actual chat window.

Chat works for me, no issues.. doesnt prompt me for a username or a password.

I am using Win7 and Google Chrome.

Maybe its an issue with your firewall or browser security settings. Try lowering your firewall rules or loosening your browser security settings, it could be that the flash chatroom cannot be accessed by your browser for some reason or another and its probably related to these things.
