Maybe its just me but over the last few days it has been crazy, I seriously can not stand it anymore! I have been a member here for quite a while now and it has never been like this before, it kind of takes away from the experience of being logged in and seems like a waste because I log on and all I see are these damn gucci and louie ads as well as many others and it instantly drives me insane! Sorry to vent but it is seriously disappointing.

it does stink i agree, if you see one there is a red triangle in lower left cornor of the post click it and report them as spam, the mods, Ben, Susan and Bev will delete them as soon as they can, its hard somtimes to keep up with them

The problem is that they are using different user Id's with a 'static IP' address. This means that the spammers IP address is constantly changing making it impossible to ban them permanently. All that can be done is delete them when they get reported, and the mods are working very hard to keep up with it. Some are deleting as many as 60 or more spam posts a day. This is all in addition to the other duties like enforceing forum rules in every post and regulating the chat room. Unfortunatly they can't catch them all, but they are doing what they can. All we can do is report the posts and try to help the mods keep up.

The mods here do a wonderful job, and do the best they can. All forums have spam to one degree or another...just part of life online i suppose

Actually Static IP's never change... dynamic IP is what you meant.

The point of the matter is,We get it when its reported or we see it.One thing that many do not realize is before someone spams the board they make anywhere upwards of 40 or so different accounts all with different IP addresses.Finding these are very difficult.Its very frustrating for you guys,as well as for us moderators and we do apologize,but we do the best we can.

put new members in a new member only section and keep it off the email list until a moderator has time to review them to make sure its not a spammer. I.E.

new person joins and has a question. Cant post in the main forums until they post for the admins to see. Then after a review they get to repost where we ALL can see it.
