Just wanted to say hi to everyone as I am new to the site and ask a few questions for a tank I just picked up. I got a 60 gallon long tank that I planned to set on a dresser as a stand but it is too small, the tank is hangs over about 2 inches on each end. Will this be ok or will it damage the tank when filled with water. Also I already have an established 45 gallon tank in the same room. What would be the best way to get the new tank established the fastest?. I was thinking about just taking some water from the old tank and filling the new tank. Would this be the best idea?
