There actually is a problem with lionfish (an IndoPacific fish) being introduced into the Atlantic. There are areas around some North Carolina wrecks where they have breeding populations. Not yet sure how they will affect the native populations, but a predator as efficient as a lionfish can't be a good addition. An important reminder never to let your aquarium fish into the native ecosystem.
