Default Collecting Tropicals in New York

Title is probably misleading. I've been a certified open water and rescue diver for years. A friend who has an aquarium chemical additive company and I went out on the south shore of Long Island a number of years ago. We took my son Shawn and just went snorkeling with nets and seining. Amazing what the Gulf Stream will bring up in the summer. We had mangrove snappers, baby barracuda, angels, etc. Very fulfilling, as all would be dead if not caught when the temps plummet.

Wanted to start a thread as I didn't see any in the section. There must be more of us here in the forum, guys.
